Pharmacy Network Information

PHARMACY NETWORK INFORMATION

To maximize the prescription drug benefit, students enrolled in the Hard Waiver Plan are encouraged to fill their prescriptions at the UCF Health Services Pharmacy. Show your ID card when filling a prescription to be charged the applicable copayments for your prescription drug program. Students enrolled in the Hard Waiver Plan will pay, for a 31-day supply, $15 for a Tier 1 drug, $50 for a Tier 2 drug and $100 for a Tier 3 drug when filled at the UCF Pharmacy. Prescriptions not filled at the UCF Pharmacy will be covered at 60% Usual & Customary. Students who enrolled in the voluntary program will pay, for a 31-day supply, $15 for a Tier 1 drug, $50 for a Tier 2 drug and $100 for a Tier 3 drug for drugs filled at the UCF Pharmacy or a retail pharmacy.

Students who are on a maintenance prescription can fill a 90-day supply of that prescription at the UCF Health Services Pharmacy.

Medications that are taken for a chronic condition can be filled for up to a 90-day supply at the UCF Health Services Pharmacy.

If you do not fill a prescription at the UCF Health Services Pharmacy, you will need to pay for the prescription and file for reimbursement. To file for reimbursement, you will need to complete a UHC Pharmacy Reimbursement Form and submit it with the pharmacy receipt.

How do I find a listing of covered prescription drugs?

The Prescription Drug List (PDL) can be found by visiting http://www.uhcsr.com. Choose University of Central Florida, click “Helpful Links” and click  “Rx Drug List".  Beginning with the 2020-2021 policy year, Step Therapy and  Prior Authorization programs are being introduced for specific drugs and are identified in the PDL.
