Student Health Center
Loyola University Student Health Services
Loyola’s Student Health Services is located on the main campus on the lower level of the Danna Student Center. Medical professionals administer a program of primary healthcare, medical assistance for illness/injury and referral for emergency and/or specialty medical care to all registered students.
The primary goal for Student Health Services is to promote personal healthcare and healthy lifestyles. Services provided include immunizations, allergy injections, intimate healthcare treatment, anonymous HIV testing, and a licensed in-house laboratory for various testing. Treatment by medical professionals is provided at no charge to students and on a confidential basis as dictated by the medical code of ethics. Prescribed medicines, referrals to off-campus medical specialists, laboratory tests, and hospitalization are at the student’s expense.
The hours of operation for fall and spring are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM, with reduced hours during the summer. For more information, please call (504) 865-3326 or go click on the link below.
