Student Health Center

Services

Services are confidential and available by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Evaluation of minor illness or injury is provided and appropriate off-campus referrals are made when needed. Accident reports, immunization records, and student insurance information are all responsibilities of the Health Service Department.

  • Health Center hours: 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday (closed during holidays)
  • Registered Nurses are available for consultation daily: 9:00am-2:00pm
  • Non-prescription medications are available for self-administration by anyone 18 or older


Screenings

Health related screenings such as diabetes/blood glucose, height, weight and blood pressure are offered free at both campuses. Confidential HIV Rapid Test screening, performed by MDPH certified technicians, is offered each month at both campuses for free.

Additional screening is offered periodically in collaboration with other community agencies that may charge a nominal fee. All screenings will be announced well in advance of the event and will be open to the college community.

Vaccine Clinics

The following vaccines are offered at the Bedford and Lowell Health Service Offices:

  • Tdap (tetanus/diphtheria, and acellular pertussis)
  • Hepatitis B vaccine (three dose series)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine

A five dollar donation to the Mothers Memorial Student Emergency Fund is requested. The donation may be waived based on a student's financial circumstances. For an appointment contact:
