Pharmacy Network Information


The prescription drug program is available through the UnitedHealthcare Pharmacy Network. United's pharmacy network includes national retail pharmacies such as CVS and Walgreens as well as local independent pharmacies. To locate a participating pharmacy, call United at: 1-855-828-7716 or visit and click on "Student Health Insurance & Plans".

To pay only a co-payment for prescriptions they must be filled at a United participating pharmacy. Show your ID card when filling a prescription to be charged the applicable copayments for your prescription drug program. If a prescriptions needs to be filled prior to receiving your ID card, you can pay for the prescription and seek reimbursement by submitting your claim online through your UHCSR MyAccount. Mail Service Prescription Drug Program

Medications that are taken for a chronic condition can be filled for up to a 90-day supply using United Healthcare's (UHC) Network Pharmacy Mail Service Prescription Drug Program. Mail order Prescription Drugs are available at 2.5 times the retail copay up to a 90 day supply up to the maximum allowed benefit.

How do I find a listing of covered prescription drugs?

The Prescription Drug List (PDL) can be found by visiting Enter your school's name, click “Helpful Links” and click  “Rx Drug List".

The Mail Order program is not available within 45 days of the 2021-2022 policy terminating. Please consult with your provider to have your monthly prescriptions filled at your local retail pharmacy. The Mail Order program will available again for the following policy year.
