This site has been designed to provide options for health insurance and repatriation coverage for J-1Visiting Scholars at Northeastern University. It also provides an option for J-1 Northeastern employees to procure repatriation coverage.

For J-1 Visiting Scholars:

You have the option of enrolling in the Northeastern University Visiting Scholars Insurance Plan through Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk. It is fully compliant with the U.S. Department of State health insurance requirements for J-1 Scholars. Information on the Scholar Plan is available in the Plan Brochure. You may also contact Gallagher Student Health using the "Customer Service" link or by engaging in live chat using the "Live Chat" icon with any questions you may have regarding coverage and how claims are processed.

To view your personal and dependent coverage information, print a verification of coverage letter, or generate your insurance ID card, please visit the “Account Home” under “My Account”.

For Northeastern Employees under a J-1 visa who are seeking repatriation coverage:
