Attention Fall 2019-2020 UMB Students: Log in process

Your user account has been created for you. Your user name is your UMB email address.

First Time Users: Your temporary password is your Banner ID number, replacing the "@" symbol with a '0' for a total of 9 digits (e.g. 000123456). Upon first logging in, you will be asked to reset your password. Instructions will be sent to your UMB email address. Once reset, you will be able to log in with your new password.

If you don't know your Banner ID, sign in to SURFS, www.umaryland.edu/surfs/ and select "Your Residency may be verified by checking your Registration Status". The screen that appears will have your Banner ID in the upper portion of the right hand side of the page before your name and above the date.

Returning Users: You were required to change your password when you initially logged in. If you have forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password" link and enter your username. Instructions to reset your password will be sent to your UMB email address.
